Ocean Heights runs tonight
The racing action today comes from Haydock and Huntingdon who both have jumps cards and with the drying ground the field sizes are looking slightly less at the moment. The evening card on the all-weather comes from Southwell. There is no racing in Ireland today.

Kepagge runs today!
It's a relatively quiet day on the sporting front, the jumps action this afternoon comes from Exeter and Wetherby and the all-weather action comes from Wolverhampton this evening. There is no racing in Ireland scheduled today.

First Lord Du Cuet - Winner at Buckfastleigh
We start the new week with two jumps meetings at Fontwell and Southwell but the stable does not have any runners. We did have Missy Mole declared to run at Southwell but she was made a non-runner yesterday. In Ireland, they have two jumps cards at Wexford and Down Royal while the all-weather action comes from Wolverhampton this evening.

Castle Daragh runs at Chepstow Today
There are two jumps meetings today at Market Rasen and Chepstow and we have one runner at the latter, Castle Daragh. He runs in the 3.02pm handicap chase over 2m7f and Jack Tudor rides. If you look at his recent form figures it doesn't read too well but I can honestly say he is much better than that and I think this represents a good chance for him. He is a course and distance winner of a hunter chase and he will appreciate the drier ground conditions he has this afternoon. This is a drop in grade of race from last time and the handicapper has given him some help. He can be good or bad as his form suggests but he does have ability and I hope he can run well this afternoon.

Jilaijone Runs at Uttoxeter Today
The 2025 Cheltenham Festival is done and dusted but the good racing continues and today it is the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter. We do not have any runners in the big race itself but we do have two there, Jilaijone and Phantomofthepoints. Jilaijone runs in the opening race on the card, the 2m3f handicap hurdle. He carries top weight so we decided to claim off him, Freddie Mitchell rides taking a handy five pounds off his back. Freddie was on board last time out when he finished fourth at Ascot and gave him a good ride. That was over 2m7f so he drops back in distance today and he was a course and distance winner on his penultimate start. There is some decent prize money on offer and it is a competitive 15 runner field. I see we are about 7/1 third best in the betting and I think he has a good each way chance. He is very consistent and he will like the ground.

Cheltenham Thursday
In a flash, we have reached the final day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival but we have another cracking days racing to look forward to and it doesn't look any easier to find the winners! The stable does not have any runners and there are two other jumps meetings today at Doncaster and Fakenham. There are also two all-weather flat fixtures at Southwell and Wolverhampton and in Ireland they also race on the all-weather at Dundalk.

American Sniper runs at Cheltenham Today
We have reached Day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival and we head to Prestbury Park today with one runner, American Sniper. He runs in the Pertemps handicap hurdle at 2.40pm and Jack Tudor rides. It is a very competitive race and we are one of the outsiders so he has it all to do but I am sure his owners will have a great day out. He is a course winner and will enjoy the better going and he carries a lightweight. Blinkers return and I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to give a bold sight for a long way and hopefully he may stay there!
