     Ocean Heights Winner at Haydock

The weekend is back around and it’s a busy Saturday for racing. The jumps fixture comes from Cartmel while the flat is heavily supported with cards coming from Haydock, Goodwood, Beverley, Salisbury and Windsor. In Ireland, they are racing on the flat at the Curragh. No runners for the stable today.

Yesterday we were busy with three different meetings – Ocean Heights backed up his recent win from Doncaster with another win at Haydock. He was prominent throughout and it was another great ride from the young and upcoming Jack Dace.

Bashful Boy never looked to be travelling throughout and was on and off during the race. He did keep galloping all the way to the line and may appreciate a slightly less competitive task.

We ended the day at Worcester with Chemical Warfare returning to smaller obstacles which he seemed to be enjoying and was a little keen throughout which probably wouldn’t have helped him. But he’s back all ok and I’m sure he’ll return to form soon enough.

It is Classic time at the Curragh with the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas taking place at 3:40pm and Field Of Gold is looking to put his dramatic Newmarket defeat behind him, but there are plenty of strong rivals amongst the line-up.

Away from the racing in the football, the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final takes place at 5:00pm between Arsenal and Barcelona.

Two antennas decided to get married, the ceremony was pretty boring, but the reception was great!

Have a great Saturday!
