Just one more day before the 2024/25 season all comes to an end, the action continues at Perth for their final day, with Chepstow and Fontwell completing the jumps card. The flat action comes from Sandown and Doncaster and in Ireland; they race over both cards with jumping coming from Kilbeggan and the flat card at Limerick.
Last night we were at Bangor, with our last runner of the season Sirekoff, who just missed out on being our last winner for the season finishing second! He travelled well and jumped well throughout and was running his best race for a while, but just bumped into one on the day! It was good to see him back to form and I'm sure he'll be back to winning ways soon. The stable finish the 24/25 season with 50 winners meaning we passed last years total which is a great effort from everyone and we look forward now to next season!
Looking into the final two days, Dan Skelton still holds a lead in the trainers title as he landed an across the card treble at Perth and Warwick landing both of their feature races. No runners for the Mullins team today with Skelton having four runners across the meetings at Perth and Chepstow.
It's confirmed that Sean Bowen will collect the Champion Jockey prize this season but that doesn't stop the talented rider giving it 100% until the end, after he recorded a 127-1 treble at Perth yesterday for Olly Murphy, which completed an across the card four timer in total after having a winner at Warwick also. The team have enjoyed plenty of success together this season and it looks to be a partnership that will continue to progress throughout the upcoming seasons.
