Sirekoff runs today at Bangor-On-Dee
The jumps action today comes from Perth who continue their three-day card, Warwick and an evening card from Bangor-On-Dee wrap up the jumps cards. The flat action comes from Beverley and an all-weather card at Chelmsford tonight. In Ireland, they race over both codes with the flat action coming from Tipperary and the jumps action from Kilbeggan.
We head to Bangor-On-Dee tonight with just the one runner Sirekoff, who will be our last runner of the season. He runs in the 6:10pm Novices’ Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 7f with Jack Tudor riding. It was a step in the right direction last time out where he ran well to finish fourth, that was on heavy ground and returning to a better surface today will most probably suit as he has winning form on good ground.
Mark Walsh will be taking the ride on Jonbon in the Celebration Chase at Sandown on Saturday with Nico ruled out of action due to injury. Plans for Constitution Hill are still yet to be confirmed, but James Bowen has been pencilled in to take the ride should he head over to Punchestown, along with Lulamba who could also be making the trip.
We are in for a little treat by the looks of things as ITV are set to show the gripping conclusion of the trainers title between Mullins and Skelton after a significant shake up to Sandown's card was announced. The first race has been moved forward by 30 minutes and the ITV coverage will now last until 5:00pm.
I talk to myself because sometimes, I just need expert advice!
Have a great Thursday!
