The battles recommence at Perth, who stage the first day of their 3 day meeting. The remaining jumps cards come from Ludlow and there is an all hurdle card at Taunton. The flat action comes from Catterick and an all-weather card at Lingfield. In Ireland, they are racing on the flat at Gowran Park. There are no runners for the stable today.
An update was issued on jockey Nico de Boinville, who was undergoing scans yesterday morning, after a nasty fall at Plumpton on Monday. He suffered a kick in the back and has been left with some broken ribs and his neck had taken a bit of a bash, so he will not be in action for a few weeks. The news of this now results in Nicky Henderson needing a replacement rider for Jonbon who could be having his next outing at Sandown this weekend and potentially Constitution Hill over in Ireland.

The documentary is called Race for the Crown and will follow all of the highlights in Northern American racing majoring on the Kentucky Derby dreams shared by a truly ecstatic set of owners.
Perth will be enjoying the benefit of the trainers title going down to the wire and their meeting providing an important part in the final days of the season. Last year they had 45 runners on the opening day and this year has risen to 84, for a little racecourse to have that much support is brilliant.
