After a lovely Easter weekend the racing is all go today with jumps cards coming from Plumpton, Fakenham and Chepstow in Britain. The flat action comes from Redcar and all-weather cards come from Kempton and Wolverhampton. In Ireland, there is jump racing only today with action continuing at Fairyhouse and Cork.

It is another significant day for the British trainers' title between Dan Skelton and Willie Mullins as it continues today with a busy afternoon. Yesterday Willie managed to draw back a bit of prize money with Absurde under Harry Cobden led home a one-two in the Sussex Champion Hurdle at Plumpton.

It was a great day for trainer Alex Hales yesterday as he reached the milestone of 300 winners at Market Rasen, which is a track he's had more success at and earned more prize money at that any other in his 25 year career. Dan Horsford, previous assistant to Alan King also had a memorable day as he saddled his first winner yesterday as a trainer at Market Rasen. Another milestone was reached by jockey, Gavin Sheehan as he reached his 100th winner of the season at Huntingdon.

Over in Ireland, the main action is the Irish Grand National which takes charge over at Fairyhouse at 5pm. Haiti Couleur is a leading fancy for Rebecca Curtis and Sean Bowen has made the trip over for the ride and this will certainly top his fantastic season off if he finishes with his head in front. 30 of them take the field in the race.

No runners under rules for the stable but we do head to Cothelstone with Royal Defender today - we will keep in touch with how he gets on!

It was a busy weekend with plenty of Premier League action taking place and the action continues today with Tottenham Hotspur vs. Nottingham Forest which takes place at 8pm tonight.

I told my doctor I heard buzzing, but she said it's just a bug that's going round!

Have a great Monday!
