Ocean at Kempton

       Ocean Heights runs at Kempton tonight
The jumps action today comes from Southwell who is the sole jumps card in Britain, the main action today though comes from Newmarket who hold their Craven meeting. There is also an all-weather card at Kempton tonight and there is no racing in Ireland scheduled for today.  

The stable have one runner and we head to Kempton tonight with Ocean Heights, who runs in the 8:30pm Handicap over 1mile 4f with Aiden Brookes riding. He ran a much more encouraging race last time out and was not beaten that far at all, hoping he can build on that effort going forwards today.   

The Craven meeting looks to have switched around this year and the three-day meeting starts more strongly than usual and is headlined by the 1,000 Guineas trial, the Nell Gwyn Stakes at 3:35pm. Arabian Dusk looks the one to set the standard and all of the heavyweight flat yards are well represented amongst the opposition.

Some transfer news came of light yesterday as Palladium who was formerly trained by Nicky Henderson has now left Seven Barrows and joined John and Thady Gosdens yard in Newmarket, where he will be prepared for a run on the flat. The plan is to prepare him for Royal Ascot but whether he will have a run beforehand is yet to be confirmed. 

Last night in the football Bournemouth vs. Fulham ended in a 1-0 result. The UEFA Champions League action continues tonight with Aston Villa vs. PSG and Borussia Dortmund vs. Barcelona both kick off at 8pm.
