         Kintaro runs today!
Only one day left until Aintree kicks off for their Grand National meeting for 2025 and the action today comes from one of our local tracks, Exeter and Ludlow. The flat action comes from Musselburgh and an all-weather card this evening from Southwell. There is also flat action coming from Gowran Park in Ireland.

After a quiet few days we head to Exeter with two runners, Kintaro runs in the 2:25pm Novices’ Hurdle over 2miles 2f with Ben Bromley in the saddle. He has a little bit to find today but I think he has more ability than he often shows, so hopefully he can put his best foot forward today and show us that today!

Castle Daragh runs in the 4:25pm Handicap Chase over 3miles with Ben Bromley again in the saddle. He is very similar to Kintaro and the main plan today is for him to complete and give us something to build on going forward. On a going day, he certainly has ability and can be quite competitive.

There was a couple of switch ups in preparation for Aintree as Paul Nicholls announced Johnny Burke was set to take the ride on Stay Away Fay to replace Bryony Frost in the Grand National but plans were soon switched after Johnny had been booked for Minella Cocooner Monday evening for the Willie Mullins team. Paul O’Brien, first jockey for Paul's nephew, Harry Derham will now take the ride instead and will have his first ever ride for the Nicholls team.

Nicky Henderson has also had a switch up on things as ante-post favourite Lulumba was not declared for the Grade 1 Juvenile Hurdle on the opening day and instead now runs in the Grade 1 Turners Novices’ Hurdle on Saturday.

I found a lion in my wardrobe the other day! When I asked what it was doing there, it said "Narnia Business!"

Have a great Wednesday!
