It's been a busy weekend for the racing action all over the place, today is much more quieter day and the stable have no runners. The sole jumps card today comes from Wincanton while the all-weather is set for an afternoon card at Lingfield and an evening card coming from Wolverhampton. A quiet day in Ireland with no racing.

The stable had three runners over the weekend and on Saturday Walkadina ran at Kelso and she travelled and jumped well throughout finishing fourth. Neon Moon was at Newbury who also finished fourth, on paper everything looked to be in his favour he has form on good ground but it has been very quick ground. Micronormous ran well at Exeter yesterday to finish second, she was no match for the winner but it was a good performance from our mare.

There was plenty of talk over the weekend with lots happening in the racing world. Nicky Henderson provided an update with Constitution Hill that he came out of Cheltenham mishap well so may even in fact head to Aintree instead of Punchestown or even to both. He will have a key piece of work before final plans are made.

Lucinda Russell had a great weekend at Kelso with two winners provided on Saturday which meant she had reached her 150th Kelso winner milestone! At Newbury Fergal O'Brien also enjoyed much welcomed success as he scored an across the card four timer! Alan Johns who also provides plenty of comedy in the racing social media was provided with a well deserved Saturday winner for his only ride on the day.

In other sport, the Women's Six Nations took to the screens over the weekend. On Saturday Ireland 15-27 France and Scotland 24-21 Wales. Sunday provided England with a super victory of 38-5 against opponents Italy.

I was once told, "Dress for the job you want not the job you have"

So today I've come in as batman!

Have a great Monday!
