Sidi Ismael runs at Wadebridge P2P Today

It’s been an eventful weekend so far with the weather playing a huge part with meetings being lost yesterday. The racing hopes to resume as normal today with jumps cards coming from Kelso and Huntingdon with their Peterborough Chase meeting. The jumps action is completed by a jumps card in Ireland, at Cork. No runners for the stable today.

Huntingdon does need to pass their inspection which is due to take place at 7:30am as the worries of Storm Darragh and the after effects continue to disrupt. The Peterborough chase is the big race on the card which is due off at 1:50pm over 2miles 4f, although a small field of 5 runners does look to be an interesting race. Kelso’s card is highlighted by the Bruce Farms Scottish Borders National off at 2:05pm which has attracted 12 runners which the Lucinda Russell team are represented with two of them.

There is point to point action coming from Wadebridge today with the first race off at 11:30am and we head there with Fighter Allen and Sidi Ismael who both look to find some old form on the switch to pointing and there are some real classy entries all round so looks to be a good afternoon of action if you’re heading there!

Outside of racing, The Everton vs. Liverpool game was called off due to Storm Darragh but there is plenty of football resuming to keep you busy today with Premier League action coming from Fulham vs. Arsenal, Ipswich vs. Bournemouth and Leicester vs. Brighton all due to kick off at 2pm, with the latter game coming from Tottenham vs. Chelsea at 4:30pm.

What do you call it when a snowman throws a tantrum?

A meltdown!

Have a lovely weekend!
