     Pachacuti runs at Wincanton today
The jumping action today comes from Wincanton where we head with three runners, Leicester and Market Rasen. While on the flat there is all-weather action at Chelmsford with an evening meeting. There is no racing in Ireland today.

At Wincanton, Back Yourself is now a non runner so African Lady starts the day off for us at 1:35pm in the Novices' Handicap Hurdle over 3miles 1/2f and Jack Tudor riding. She was absolutely fine after falling last time out at Wincanton and has been a little disappointing, but she has showed some ability and she will appreciate the step up in trip here today.

Pachacuti runs in the 2:35pm Handicap Chase over 3miles 1f with Jack Tudor in the saddle, he will have come on from his previous run being his first start back after a break and the trip today is more to his liking as he's won over course and distance here before. To end the day, we have Dindin running in the 3:10pm Handicap Chase over 3miles 2 1/2f with the inform Callum Pritchard riding he didn't quite jump that fluently last time out and took a bit of a back step from his run at Chepstow, the headgear has been taken off today, he does have plenty of ability so hopefully he can run a more encouraging race.

Yesterday at Haydock, the introductory hurdle went the way of Dan Skelton's Royal Infantry as he won impressively by 8 1/2 lengths. He took a step forward from his Chepstow Maiden Hurdle success and the Skelton team are looking at the possibility of returning to Haydock for the Grade 2 Supreme Trial in January. James Owen continues the form of his stable with East Street rattling off a hat-trick in eight days.

In the football Everton 4-0 Wolverhampton Wanders, Manchester City 3-0 Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United 3-3 Liverpool, Southampton 1-5 Chelsea, Arsenal 2-0 Man U, Aston Villa 3-1 Brentford.

Did you hear about the guy who hurt his left side?

He's all right now!

Happy Thursday!
