         Activist wins at Leicester!
Well the rain has certainly come and snow in some areas! Carlisle passed their inspection this morning and Fakenham is the other jumps card today. While there is all-weather action coming from Lingfield and Southwell who will need to pass their inspection at 10am due to snow covering the track for their evening meeting. In Ireland, they are back racing over obstacles at Limerick which is the first fixture of the week.

Yesterday at Leicester Activist put up a good performance on his return run after a break to gain a third win over hurdles under Jack Tudor, jumping well and galloping all the way to the line. Ben Lilly did look to travel much better this time around the conditions did not look nice on TV, but he is such a quirky type and maybe doesn't always try his hardest. Seymourjohn made his stable debut in what was a strange race with it only being three runners, but he would've gained some more experience and he has plenty of size and scope so looks be at his best over obstacles in due course.

Today we are at Fakenham with two runners Micronormous runs in the 1:55pm Mares’ Handicap Chase over 2miles 5f with Jack Tudor in the saddle she took a step back in the right direction in her last run and kept galloping if she takes to the fences then she should run well. Dindin runs in the 3:40pm Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase over 3miles with Gearoid Harney riding, he ran well last time out considering he didn't get a smooth run of things but he galloped strongly to the line, he should hopefully run well today.

The Betfair Chase is to take place at Haydock this weekend and there are a potential of 10 for the race. One of the early fancies Corbetts Cross was not put forward, but JP McManus has supplemented the Willie Mullins trained Copodanno, who won the Cotswold Chase in January. Entries will be revealed today for Sandown's Grade 1 Tingle Creek, which is due to take place on the 7th December, which is looking to have Jonbon and Edwardstone to feature in the line up. It's hard to believe that we are talking about the upcoming Christmas meetings!
