        Chemical Warfare runs today!
It was an extremely wet day yesterday with showers all through the day and into last night, but it looks to stay dry now for a few days and I take my hat off to the staff riding out! Today there is jumps racing at Ludlow and Sedgefield while the flat meetings are covered at Nottingham and Kempton. In Ireland, there is a flat card at Navan.

Today we head back to Sedgefield with two runners for the stable, Chemical Warfare runs in the 2:28pm Handicap Chase over 3miles 2½ with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He won over course and distance last time out and he went up four pounds for that, hopefully he could follow up the success this time out and hopefully they haven't had too much rain. Our next runner is Pub Crawl who carries the same colours and he runs in the 3:58pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 1f with Jack Tudor riding. He ran his best race last time out at Newton Abbot and he will need to build on this, but he does have the ability to.

Plenty of talented horses are entered to run at Chepstow over Friday and Saturday for what is known as the official start of the winter season and today declarations will be made for the Friday card. The majority of the talk yesterday was regarding the Tattersalls October yearling sales in Newmarket as the Amo racing team was front and centre of attention having bought 13 of the lots coming to a whopping total of 12,010,000 guineas. A trio of youngsters by Frankel led the splurge with the top lot totalling 4,400,000 guineas.
