               Only Fools runs today!
An action filled weekend and today there is a jumps card at Stratford which is the only jumps card in Britain. On the flat there is action at Pontefract, Yarmouth and Wolverhampton. In Ireland, they race over both codes with the jumping at Fairyhouse and the flat card at Killarney.

We head to Stratford today with Only Fools who runs in the 2:42pm Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 6f with Gearoid Harney in the saddle. It's her first run back after a small break in July and she's had a wind op since then also. She's been such a consistent mare and always tries her best and has been brilliant fun for the David Pipe Racing Club and she should enjoy the softer ground conditions today.

The action on Sunday in Paris for the Arc is a day that jockey Rossa Ryan will not forget as he took to victory on Bluestocking for trainer Ralph Beckett. Bluestocking who was lately supplemented for the race put the Juddmonte silks back in the winner enclosure for the seventh time. On Sunday we made the long trip - not quite as long as Paris to Kelso where Oceanline ran. He travelled and jumped well throughout but in the closing stages he just couldn't quite go with them. We know he is better than this, so I'm sure there will be plenty other days for him.

In the football over the weekend there was plenty action to watch in the Premier League. On Saturday Arsenal vs. Southampton, Arsenal came from behind to maintain their unbeaten start to the season finishing with a 3-1 result. Yesterday Aston Villa and Man-U which ended in a 0-0 result, meaning Man-U have now gone five games without a win. At Stamford Bridge Chelsea ended in a draw against Nottingham Forest 1-1. Brighton produced a superb fight back to beat Tottenham 3-2.

Have you ever played quiet tennis? It's the same as regular tennis - but without the racket!

Happy Monday!
