Oceanline runs at Kelso!
It’s an action packed Sunday as the Arc weekend in Paris continues with the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe taking place at 3:20pm. There is no other flat action today, with the two jumps meetings coming from Uttoxeter and Kelso. In Ireland, they have a mixed card at Tipperary and a jumps card at Killarney.
We made the long journey up to Kelso yesterday morning in preparation of our runner up there today, Oceanline who runs in the 2:05pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 5f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He won at Worcester last time out where he jumped well and kept on galloping to the line and he seems to be good form at the moment. The ground looks to be in his favour being good so hopefully he can run another big race.
One of the greatest races in the flat season the Arc is taking place today at Longchamp, last year it was Ace Impact and the home team looks to hold a strong chance of keeping the valuable prize with Sosie. It is a long shortlist with plenty of British and Irish representation notably being Irish Derby winner Los Angeles. Bluestocking, the Prix Vermeille winner has been supplemented and could be a leading contender for Ralph Beckett. Longchamp will host 5 further group 1's so it looks to be an unmissable day of action.
Today Premier League action continues with Aston Villa vs. Man U, Chelsea vs. Nottingham Forest, Brighton & Hove vs. Tottenham Hotspur. The first game kicking off at 2:00pm.
