No jumps racing again today, it's a weird time for the jumps as we wait to approach the winter season ahead but the flat meetings at Yarmouth, Redcar, Brighton and Newcastle. In Ireland, they race on the flat at Punchestown. The stable have no runners today and looks to be a quiet week until the weekend where we have entries for Newton Abbot.

Yesterday we were at Worcester with 3 runners in the end as Stray Bullet was just not quite right so we wait for another day with him. First up we had Nila, she ran well to have a clear round of jumping and this would've done her confidence the world of good. African Lady travelled and jumped well until three out and she seemed to have stopped quickly, Jack thought she may have lost her action, so did the right thing and looked after her and pulled her up, she is fine this morning which is the main thing and it's back to the drawing board - Jack Pipe hasn't given up hope yet! Mr Tambourine Man travelled well early on, but looked to have found things a bit competitive off his higher mark, but we know he is better than this.

There is significant interest at Newcastle's all-weather meeting as Coolmore are represented by Pageant in the 6f Novice at 6:30pm. The daughter of Wootton Bassett is set to make her debut for the James Fanshawe yard with Daniel Muscutt in the saddle and on paper she certainly looks an interesting type.

In the football tonight there is plenty of action with the UEFA Champions League back on with Liverpool up against Milan who kick off at 8pm and Aston Villa up against Young Boys who kick off at 5:45pm. The 3rd round of the English League Cup with 7 matches is set to take place also so plenty to keep an eye on!

What do you call a Spanish man who's been discharged from hospital?

Manwell!

Happy Tuesday!
