It's a quiet period as we have no runners with no jump racing until Monday. Lots of flat action to keep you covered though with meetings at Doncaster, Chester, Lingfield, Musselburgh and Bath. In Ireland, they have flat action at Leaopardstown.

News from Ireland yesterday was that the two-time Ryanair winner Allaho has been retired at the age of 10. The star from Closutton has won 10 races from his 20 starts and won the best part of 1 million in prize money. He's retired all safe and sound and the plan for him now is to take on a new discipline in dressage and is due to relocate down near Taunton!

It's a busy weekend for the yard as today we open our doors to the David Pipe Racing Club for a stable visit, we have over 100 people coming to see the club horses and have a tour round the yard and the weather is due to stay nice so it will be a lovely morning and nice for me to put names and faces together! If you're interested in joining the Racing Club there are more details on our website, otherwise don't be afraid to get in touch with us! Tomorrow is another busy day as we open our doors to the public for National Racehorse Week.

Worcester have said that they will not be removing their half furlong post, after it caused some confusion for young Elizabeth Gale mistaking it for the winning post. There's been a few cases of mistaken identity at the course, but the racecourse insists it will stay there. I do think it should be something monitored as it is obviously something that's easily mistaken.

What do you call a blind dinosaur?

A do-you-think-he-saw-us.

Have a lovely weekend!
