You may recall that some of the jockeys participated in a photoshoot for Thomas Pink a few weeks ago and I thought that one or two of the boys looked as though they had been dragged through a hedge (or maybe even an open ditch) backwards, well we have just received a picture of stable jockey Tom Scudamore at the same shoot. All I can say is that it's good news that Tom is good at his day job as I don't think the catwalks of Milan are beckoning!...only joking Tom!

I see that jockey's Graham Lee and Brian Hughes have said that the new whip regulations "will improve the art of jockeyship" - I wonder if they feel that some of the results would be different? I don't care what anyone says, some of the results will change - many a time I have seen jockeys having to galvanise their mounts halfway through a race. I would imagine that quite a few horses will be taken out of training as under the new guidelines they will not be able to win. Hopefully the new measures will keep the protestors quite for a while, otherwise the next thing will want to do is ban jump racing - you heard it here first.

I thought that Chelsea looked a little unlucky to only get a draw at Valencia last night. The Spanish team scored a penalty in the 87th minute - I bet David was already counting his chickens (he's a Chelsea supporter, but we all have our problems!). You wouldn't have believed it would you?...Carlos Tevez doesn't like Manchester and wants to get away! I never would have guessed! Anyway, as far as I am concerned, the spoilt and pampered players of today have too much power (and money!) - I would make him practice and play with the reserves - the only trouble is that it would cost Manchester City a lot of money. He will get his way in the end so a move is definitely on the cards - he is a great player, but who would take a chance on an enigma like that?

I was amused to hear new trainer Hugo Palmer telling how his day was ruined when he heard Vanessa Feltz talking about g-strings on the radio. I would have thought g-ropes were more the order of the day! I will leave you with that thought...have a nice day!
