Although we are due to have a dry sunny day today two race meetings where abandoned early from the wet weather last week. Leaving just three meeting, Windsor, Wolverhampton and Plumpton where we have one runner Ya Know Yaseff.

She runs in the 2.45pm Novice Handicap Chase over 3m1f. She was a little disappointing last time out (she still finished 4th!) but that was off the back of two closely run races. She is fresh and well at home and heads the market in this four runner contest.

A round up from yesterday’s runners, up at Sedgefield Makanao finished fourth in what was a competitive enough Juvenile Hurdle. Vision De Maine ran well in the Bumper, with the winner looking likely to head to Cheltenham for a listed contest so we must be pleased with how Vision De Maine ran. He will come on for this experience and looks a lovely horse going forward.

Kauto Kawai was a little disappointing in the Juvenile Hurdle at Kempton, but I am sure we will have learnt more about him from this race. These are all lovely young horses to look forward for the season going forward. It is still early days and the main thing is that they have all come out of their races fine!

Did you hear about the cheese factory that exploded in France? There was nothing left but de Brie. Have a lovely Day!
