Looking back at the Cheltenham Festival, I couldn't help but notice how there were more cameramen waiting to take pictures than normal.  I thought they were waiting for David or MCP but then I found out the real reason...they were waiting for Katie Price (Jordan)!  I suppose she has far better form than the people from Pond House!  I know she has a couple of notable assets, but it really does amaze me how people like her continue to make so much money.

We had our usual marquee (or wigwam as Roger Stanley calls it) for the entire four days of the Cheltenham Festival and we had a full house everyday.  The atmosphere in there was electric - especially on the Thursday after out two winners.  Carol tells me that they will be investing in a bigger wigwam for next year's Festival.

The jockeys were all in good form and kindly gave of their time to come and speak to our guests everyday and give their opions of the day's racing - that was the good news.  The bad news was that on Friday we were also joined on the panel by Attheraces broadcaster of the year, Matt Chapman.  Matt is so loud that he does not need a microphone and amplifier and all of the tents in the village will have heard who he was running down!  In fairness, Matt is good value - he takes no prisoners and gives his honest opinion rightly or wrongly and I respect him for that.  I did notice that he wasn't quite as orange as usual, but judging by his selections he probably can't afford to have any more of those spray tans!

It is already less than three weeks to the Grand National...where does the time go?
