The stable has runners at both of the jumps meetings this afternoon as we send Battle Group (pictured above) on the long trek up to Wetherby, while Take Over Sivola and Presenting William take his chance at Uttoxeter. Our northern jockey(!) Tom Scudamore takes the ride at Wetherby, while Conor O'Farrell does duty at Uttoxeter. They look to be very competitive contests so we will be hoping for the best.

Today there are four meetings taking place with two on the level at Lingfield and Kempton as well as two jumps meetings at Stratford and Hereford. The stable has a couple of runners in the hands and heels hurdle at Stratford - American Art who will be partnered by Tom Bellamy and Woodlark Island (pictured above) who will be ridden by Kieron Edgar.

This afternoon there are four meetings taking place, with three on the flat at Lingfield, Nottingham and Kempton as well as a jumps card at Haydock. Surprisingly, the lion's share of the prize money is at the jumps meeting - mind you, it is still a fair way behind our counterparts over in Ireland at Punchestown this afternoon.

*Taunton 3.00pm Businessmoney Judi N/R*
There are four meetings taking place this afternoon - three on the flat at Catterick, Yarmouth and Wolverhampton as well as a jumps card at our local track, Taunton. There is a competitive day's action at the Somerset track and with Businessmoney Judi now a non-participant we have three runners, Terfel's Toscar, Vertige Dore (pictured above) and Dukes Art. We had a couple of runners at Bangor yesterday - unfortunately Investissement fell three out . The winner of that race, Tominator was rated 100 on the flat and he looks to be a useful recruit to hurdling. Meanwhile Molly Oscar ran in snatches but did run on well in the closing stages to finish fourth, not beaten at all far - this former point winner may well benefit from a longer trip.

Royal Mile
It was a great weekend for the yard with three winners on Saturday and two more yesterday. Royal Mile won at Chepstow over three miles on his Pond House debut. He won off of a rating of 76 and looked to win with a bit in hand. Young Kieron Edgar gave our eight year old a great ride and this was his first success for his boss David. Kieron was champion novice point to point rider in the Devon and Cornwall area last season and that was his second career winner under rules, the first coming in a bumper at Exeter last season. He is a nice rider and is sure to ride plenty more winners in the future. Royal Mile is entered at Wetherby on Friday and he could well run with a penalty as it will be interesting to see what the handicapper does to him.

Broadway Buffalo
Today there are just two meetings and they are both over jumps at Aintree and Wincanton. David has five runners at both tracks with Midnight Tuesday and Broadway Buffalo running at Aintree and Frankline Roosevelt, Bathwick Man and Weekend Millionair at Wincanton. I am especially looking forward to seeing Broadway Buffalo run in the bumper at Aintree. Our four year old has won his only start, a bumper at Worcester in quite impressive fashion and Tom Scu rides. It is quite difficult for horses carrying penalties to win another bumper but we like our four year old a lot and he has a good chance.

Gevrey Chambertin & Grands Crus
Today there are six meetings, three on the flat at Newbury, Doncaster and Wolverhampton plus three over jumps at Aintree, Chepstow and Stratford. The stable has runners at all three jumps meetings and probably the most interesting will be our four year old Gevrey Chambertin in the 5.10pm at Aintree. The four year old is the younger brother of stable star Grands Crus. He is making his hurdles debut this afternoon after winning a bumper at Ffos Las and finishing fourth in a listed race at Newbury last season. He has schooled well at home and although he probably wants further in time it looks a good starting point at Aintree this afternoon. I am really looking forward to him running and Tom Scudamore goes up there to ride him.
