Tom Scu keeps riding the winners
Today we have just two jumps cards at Market Rasen and Ffos Las. David has one runner, Bidourey in the 1m6f concluding bumper for three year olds at Ffos Las. He has has just won run, winning in France and this is his Pond House debut. He looks the best on form and won't mind the ground. Tom Scu rides and he is looking to continue his good run of form. Scu has two rides at the Welsh track in the last two races on the card.
It was a good performance from Richard Hannon to win the flat trainers championship in his first season of training. He is the first person to do this in his first year for several years mind you, he did take over from his dad and had a top class list of horses to train plus over 100 two year olds which does kind of make the job a little easier!
I spotted a strange advert in the Racing Post yesterday. Someone was advertising to swap a 2012 Jeep compass which has 22,000 miles on the clock for a good national hunt horse. Swapping one horse power for another! It does not say if the horse has to be low mileage or needs an MOT!
I see they are trying to change the World Cup football in Qatar to November or December. I find it hard to believe they were even thinking about football in the summer in this country because of the extreme heat but it will really mess up a lot of European leagues. I think it is time that some of the big countries got together and put FIFA in there place and got rid of them!
Talking about football. There are four matches on today, three at 1.30pm, Sunderland v Everton, Tottenham v Stoke and WBA v Newcastle. I think the best match is on at 4pm, Swansea v Arsenal. Swansea could show up Arsenal's poor defence. At 13/5 Swansea will probably carry some of my hard earnt cash! Have a nice day.
