It looks like being a busy day for the yard with four runners spread across three different meetings, including War Singer and Midnight Tuesday who travel all the way up to Kelso and will be ridden by Tom Scudamore.  Bathwick Man, who has been in such good form this season is topweight for a very competitive handicap hurdle at Huntingdon , while Molly Oscar will be partnered by young conditional jockey Kieron Edgar at Uttoxeter.  Let's keep our fingers crossed for a winner or two from them!

It's Arc day at Longchamp, one of my favourite days of the year with no fewer than eight Group races on their card.  Frankie Dettori is aboard paper favourite Camelot on a rare ride for Aiden O'Brien and the Ballydoyle team.  With no flat racing on England, many of the top jockeys from these shores will be riding at the Paris track and I reckon Frankie could be in for a red letter day - he has fancied mounts in Spirit Quartz at 12.55pm and Colour Vision at 5.25pm.

Talking of Frankie Dettori - he has quite a busy schedule this weekend.  The veteran Italian has six rides at Ascot this afternoon, then he catches the 22.30 flight to New York for a couple of rides at Belmont Park before flying on to Paris for his rides at the Arc meeting...talk about life of the jet-set!  I wonder if he will get jet-lag?!

I will be looking forward to the football on television this afternoon as Newcastle take on Manchester United and Spurs take on Aston Villa.  I think I will have a cheeky little double on Southampton (13/8 to beat Fulham) and Spurs at 1/2.  You heard it here first!

The West Indies are 11/10 shots to beat the Sri Lankans in the final of the Twenty Twenty World Cup cricket after beating the Australians on Friday.  Chris Gayle hit an amazing 75 from only 41 balls.  It should be a really entertaining match between two great limited overs sides.
