     Ramses De Teille runs at Fontwell

Today hopefully we have two meetings, a jumps card at Fontwell plus and all-weather meeting at Southwell.  I would have thought the trade description people could do Southwell as there is an 8am inspection on the all-weather!  David has one runner at Fontwell, Ramses De Teille in the 2.15pm handicap chase.  He won on heavy last time out at Chepstow by 17 lengths but he has gone up 15 pounds for that win so he has got to improve again.  The step up in trip should be okay and we look to have a favourites chance of winning.  Tom Scu rides.

It was a great performance yesterday at Punchestown from Sizing John and he is now 4/1 favourite to defend his Gold Cup crown.  It will take a very good one to beat him.  The cold weather and football on TV seemed to keep the people away from Punchestown as it looked a very poor crowd. You would have thought the standard of racing would have got people away from the telly and fires....on second thoughts maybe not!

What a result for my team West Ham on Saturday...enough said!  Liverpool murdered Everton but only came away with a draw.  If it was a boxing match the referee would have stopped it to save Everton any more punishment.  Manchester City looked different class to Manchester United.  If I was Mourinho I would tell Lukaku to keep out of his own penalty box.  He cost United two goals and he also missed a sitter.  I bet they would love to get their money back that they paid for him.  It now looks like City will win the Premiership and that is even before Christmas!

Ronnie O'Sullivan was absolutely brilliant in beating Shaun Murphy 10-5 in the British Open snooker.  It was his sixth UK title and now he is equal with Steve Davis.  He has also drawn level with Stephen Hendry's 18 Major titles.  He also notched up his 916th century break, he is a real superstar of the game.
