Friday Night Light (FR)

2013 Bay Gelding
By: Air Chief Marshal (IRE)
Out of: Peninsula (FR)
By: Dansili

I am delighted to offer a ½ share in exciting novices’ hurdle prospect Friday Night Light.  He had some good form on the flat in France, winning over 1m4½f at Compiegne, while he was also placed at top tracks such as Maisons-Laffitte and Saint Cloud.

The ground was too lively for his liking when making his first start for the yard in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket.  He has made a most promising start to his hurdling career, finishing placed on his first couple of outings, before running out a brave winner at Newbury on his handicap debut.  He is a lovely type with plenty of potential and is one that will continue to mix hurdling with running on the level in this country.

See him in action on the gallops by clicking the image below:

The half share is available for £50,000 +VAT

Just Midas (IRE)
2013 Bay Gelding
By: Shantou (USA)
Out of: Desert Gail (IRE)
By: Desert Style (IRE)

Shantou is a sire that I like very much and have done well with in the past (with the likes of Ballynagour, Our Father and Taj Badalandabad) and I have high hopes for this three year old.  He is a super looking fellow and has a lovely pedigree being a half-brother to useful point-to-point, hurdle and chase winner Court Red Handed and hurdle winner Clontarf.

He looks like a super prospect for the future, is fit & ready to run and holds current entries. 50% Share remaining.

Robin des Champs - Gaspara

2014 Chestnut Gelding

By: Robin des Champs (FR)

Out of: Gaspara (FR)

By: Astarabad (USA)

Bred in the purple, we are delighted to offer 50% of this exciting gelding.  By National Hunt super sire Robin des Champs, he is a son of the stable’s very own Imperial Cup and Cheltenham Festival winning mare, Gaspara.

Robin des Champs is responsible for top class jumpers Vautour, Sir des Champs, Un Temps Pour Tout and Quevega to name but a few, while Gaspara is a half-brother to winning Pond House inmates Mr Thriller and The Tracey Shuffle.

This well-made individual has pleased in everything he has done to date and is an exciting recruit for the future.

2013 Bay Filly
By: Presenting (IRE)
Out of: Carrigeen Lunaria (IRE)
By: Saddler’s Hall

I saw this filly at the Cheltenham sales and immediately fell in love with her!  As well as being a lovely looker, she also has a very good pedigree being by super-sire Presenting out of a winning point-to-pointer, Carrigeen Lunaria.  There are plenty of winners in her extended pedigree including the promising recent point-to-point and hurdle winner Benatar.

She is a beautiful stamp of a horse, will have no problem jumping hurdles and will make a super chaser in time.  Furthermore, as she is un-named, you can choose the name yourself!

                            River Dun

River Dun
2010 Bay Mare
By: Indian River (FR)
Out of: Sight 'N Sound
By: Chief Singer

River Dun showed plenty of promise on her first start for the Pond House team when a narrow runner-up to a previous winner at Fontwell on Boxing Day.  Staying on well in the closing stages, she would have won in a few more strides and looks sure to go one better very soon.

She had previously shown ability when placed in all four of her bumpers and again over hurdles, particularly when fifth (beaten only 5½ lengths) behind Greatwood Hurdle runner-up  Misterton and subsequent winner Winningtry and Louis' Vac Pouch.

A fine, well-made mare who is a half-sister to winners, Magic Mistress, Lord Oriel and Out Of Range, River Dun has the size and scope for fences (has schooled well over them at home) and remains eligible for novices' contests.

Good value at £8,000
