Victory For England!

It is the end of another week, there is another day off for the jumping in Britain with no meeting scheduled. The flat cards come from Newbury, Haydock, and Nottingham with evening action at Hamilton, Newmarket and Pontefract. In Ireland, they are racing over both codes with jumping at Killarney and the flat card comes from Down Royal. No runners for the stable today.

Yesterday evening we were at Worcester with Hammer Dan who ran another solid race and finished third. He was maybe a bit below his level of his previous two runs, but it was another great run from him and hopefully won't be too long before he can get his head in front!

Things at Newbury kicks off with their two-day meeting and the card today features a fascinating clash between the juveniles in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes at 4:10pm.

Last night in the football England were against Sweden in the Women's Euro quarter-finals and England produced a remarkable comeback, to continue the defence of their European title after their game went to penalties. England will now face Italy on Tuesday for a place in the Euro 2025 final. 

I asked the gym instructor if he could teach me to do the splits...

He replied "how flexible are you?" to which I replied "I can't make Tuesdays!"
