                     Lady Reset

Today we have two runners at Stratford, I’lletyougonow and Lady Reset.  The mares’ novice hurdle divided and so we have a runner in each division of the race.  Tom Scudamore rides both and I’lletyougonow runs in the first division at 1.20pm.  She has only had one run over hurdles before and that was at Warwick in January.  That was a useful race and she ran okay but finished a well beaten fifth in the end.  She is a flat winner, will prefer the better ground today and this is not as strong a race.  The track will suit and providing she settles okay fingers crossed she has an each way chance.

Lady Reset runs in division two of the race at 1.50pm.  This is her hurdling debut but she has schooled nicely at home.  She made her stable debut at Windsor a couple of weeks ago and didn’t have much luck in running, getting hampered twice.  She finished seventh but was not beaten that far.  She is a two time winner on the level and if she can translate her ability to over jumps she looks to have a good chance in this.  She should like the track and ground.

Teaser ran okay but never really got involved at Newton Abbot yesterday.  Tom Scudamore did well to stay on board at the first fence after a little mistake but as the race went on he jumped better and better.  He looked to have a chance leaving the back straight but could never quite get to the first little group.  He is probably a bit high in the ratings at the moment as for his wins last summer he received a nice four year old allowance.  Hopefully the handicapper will give him a bit of help and then he will be more competitive in future races.

On Monday Le Grand Rocher travelled to Uttoxeter races but did not run as we felt the ground was too quick for him.  Dell’arca ran okay, but as they quickened up turning for home he got outpaced before staying on again towards the finish.  While he is not quite the force of old with a bit more cut in the ground I am sure he will be winning a race or two this summer.  Midnight Magic was a little too keen on his return to action, travelling like a dream before rivals quickened away from him after the fourth last.  Jockey David Noonan thought he will be better in a stronger run race.  They did not go very quick early on which did not suit.  All the horses are fine which is the main thing and we will be looking for other races for them soon.

Our next runners after today will be on Friday at Market Rasen.  At the weekend we have Percy Street entered on the flat at Ascot on Saturday while Le Grand Rocher and Airton hold entries at Bangor on Sunday.
