Today there are three meetings, jumps cards at Fontwell and Uttoxeter plus a flat card at Southwell.  David has two runners at Uttoxeter.  Eur Gone West runs in the 2 mile maiden hurdle at 2.00pm.  He finished close up in an Irish Point to Point and he also ran well on his hurdling debut at this track back in October to finish fourth.  Tom Scu rides and he looks to have a good chance.  Three Star General runs in the 2m7f handicap hurdle at 2.30pm.  He ran is best race for a while at Exeter last time to finish third over today's trip.  Blinkers replace cheek pieces and Tom Scu rides.  He looks to have a good each way chance.

Max Do Brazil ran well to finish second at Lingfield yesterday, his best run in this country so far.  He seemed to 'bump into one', the winner Deebaj won very impressively for Gary Moore off a rating of 106.  I would think the handicapper would have to put him up to a mark of around 120 after yesterday's performance.

Imagine someone sent you a horse that cost 3.5 million guineas.  Well Qatar racing have sent John Gosden a horse that cost that much!  I think I would be too frightened to even take it out of the stable!

When going through a race card I always look for trainers and jockeys who travel to meetings miles away from home.  Daryl Jacob had scored at Musselburgh on his last five visits to the track and if you had backed all his rides to a £1 level stake you would be showing a profit of £10.68.

There are lots Champions League football matches tonight.  Liverpool play Napoli while Spurs are away to Barcelona.  It will be a Liverpool Barcelona double for me!  I just hope they turn out their first teams.  Staying on football, I heard a great quote from Harry Redknapp after coming out of the Jungle.  Someone told him that Newcastle had one the league and he replied "how long have I been in here, 20 years?!"  Harry will be making more money now as the Sun have got his only interview.  If I was Chelsea I would pay Eden Hazard whatever he wants.  they do not want to lose the Belgian to Real Madrid, he makes Chelsea tick.

My mates never had much of an appetite yet today he ate a dozen kinder eggs whole.  He's full of surprises!
