There are five meetings today and the good news is that two of them are jumps meetings!  We have action at Newton Abbot and Worcester over jumps plus flat cards at Beverley, Salisbury and Kempton.  David has two runners at Newton Abbot.  Delirant runs in the first race at 1.50pm, a 2m2f maiden hurdle.  Our five year old won two Bumpers in France and after a long absence he ran okay at Bangor in a maiden hurdle.  He works well at home and the form of the Bangor race is very good for this time of year.  Tom Scu rides and he should run a big race.  Take the High Road runs in the 3.50pm handicap hurdle over two miles with David Noonan in the saddle.  Our four year old was okay on the flat and has a rating of 72.  He was a bit disappointing at Stratford over hurdles last time so has to improve to feature in this but he definitely has the ability to be involved.

I loved the radio show that A P McCoy and Richard Johnson did on Saturday evening.  Johnson said that McCoy was not grumpy and did not starve himself and ate lots of chocolate!  McCoy said that Richard was the tightest man in racing!  You could tell that both had a lot of respect for each other.  Two great champions.

In yesterday's racing action there was one certainty at Chelmsford, Ummalnar.  He was backed from 7/1 on to 25/1 on.  Who backs horses at these sort of prices?!  The good news is that he did win.

I hope you followed me and backed Athens in the football last night?!  They beat Celtic 2-1.

It was good news for cricketer Ben Stokes who was found not guilty in Bristol.  The gay couple that Stokes defended that night said Stokes was an all round good bloke.  I cannot see why the cricket board is now having to have their own decisions about his future.  The law of the land found him not guilty, surely that is good enough?  Maybe they are going to ban drinking.  Imagine in Ian Botham's day's of playing cricket if that had happened!

I saw a barrel of oil performing in a comedy club.  He was slick but he was crude!!  Have a nice day.
