Tom Scu rode a winner in Jersey

There are four meetings all on the flat at Ayr, Ripon, Wolverhampton and Windsor.  I know it is a Monday but how do Woverhampton and Windsor get away with under £50,000 in prize money for the whole card?!  Tom Scu has been on holiday in Jersey, I say been on holiday but he has actually been riding and he rode a winner on Masquerade in a 7F flat race for Neil Mulholland.  I have been to the track a few times and it is a nice day out when it is sunny.

It is Richard Dennis' birthday today, he is 54.  Richard still works and rides out in the yard.

I watched the 7F seller at Leicester yesterday.  I have never seen a 7 furlong race where they were so spread out.  They were coming home in single file, spread out miles!  The winner had 10 pounds in hand of her rivals and it certainly looked like it.  She won by 5 and 7 lengths.

I watched the football yesterday and both Liverpool and Manchester City looked impressive.  They were head and shoulders above West Ham and Arsenal.  It sounds more like a hair advert what I just said!  I think Noble's days are numbered at West Ham and I was also not impressed by Wilshire.  It can only get better!

England won the Test against a very poor Indian batting line up.  We bowled them out for 130 runs and Jimmy Anderson took his 100 Test wickets at Lords and an incredible 560 in total Test wickets.

American Brooks Koepka won his second match by seeing off Tiger Woods.  Woods shot a great 64 on the final day.  The crowd were really rooting for Tiger but Koepka was also good with a final round of 66 to win by two shots.

Every morning I rub a wild bird under my arms, Osprey-on deodorant!!  Have a nice day.
