 Samantha, who prefers to be called Sam, was born in
Germany while her father was in the British army. Sam's parents and her
sister now live in Doncaster.
After leaving school Sam went to the Northern Racing College, which is
located in Doncaster before starting work at Mary Reveley's in December
1995.
Sam moved South in 2001 to join her then boyfriend, Bob Hodge (one of
our travelling head lads) and started working at Pond House. Since
joining the team Sam has had some great times, most notably spending 17
days in Japan with one of her favourite horses, Tiutchev and also when
Maximize won the Kim Muir Amateur Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. Now
that Tiutchev has been retired Sam misses him dearly but knows that he
is enjoying living at his new home.
Sam is currently single although she would be happy to win the lottery
and settle down to have a large family.
