Swimming Pool

At Pond House you will find the best training facilities in the country available to your horse.

Over the years the swimming pool has proved to be invaluable - especially with problem horses.  It has been the ideal facility with which to tackle injuries: cuts, lameness, muscular or foot problems etc. which may have otherwise stopped the horse from exercising.  The idea behind the equine pool is simple - it gives the horses a "weightless gallop", meaning they are fully exercised, yet their legs are not put under any undue pressure.

The horses are always supervised by at least three experienced and fully trained members of our excellent staff when swimming, and as you can see from the picture of "Night In A Million" – most of them enjoy it enormously!
