Rowan Savage

Rowan was born in Aylesbury on 16^th January 1981 and has worked in equine based yards most of her working life.

Indeed, Rowan spent six months in the exotic location of Jamaica – she insists that it wasn’t a holiday, but that she worked there doing some teaching and working with show jumpers.

Rowan joined the Pipe team in January 2008, having spent time temping in many different sorts of equestrian centres, including racing, hunting and teaching.  She certainly has some tales to tell, most notably of a time when one of her former bosses took one of his point-to-pointer’s hunting.  He arrived at the meet, opened the lorry and then realised that he hadn’t loaded the horse!

Rowan has a refreshing, happy-go-lucky approach to life – she enjoys skiing (presumably not in Jamaica!), and her ambitions for the future are to enjoy life to the full.
