Jordan Chalmers

Jordan has been working as a stable lass at Pond House since November 2006.

Jordan was born in Pembrokeshire in 1989. She lived near Peter Bowen and began working for him part-time. She did this for 4 years and then went to work for Ron Harris where she did 6 months as a work rider before joining the team here at Pond House.

Jordan’s best time in racing was leading up Ballycassidy in the King George Gold Cup and the Grand National whilst at Peter Bowen’s. Apart from Ballycassidy, Soliya is the best horse Jordan has looked after because she has won three times for her.

Jordan’s favourite horses here are Soliya, because she is so hardy, and also Gaspara who she rides everyday. She rode our star filly throughout last season when she won the Imperial Cup at Sandown and Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Outside of racing Jordan supports Liverpool football team and enjoys shopping and going out with her friends. She hopes to stay in racing for a while and then go to college to study physiotherapy.
