 Gemma has been
working at Pond House as a stable lass since September 2004.
Gemma was born in Taunton in June 1987. Her grandfather used to
train racehorses and her uncle was a jockey, therefore Gemma has
always had horses in the family. Before joining the team here at
Pond House she was studying beauty therapy. She also worked for her
cousin C J Williams for a season.
The best horses that Gemma has looked after are Abragante, Over The
Creek and Mamlook but she believes that the best is yet to come,
Tino Tino.
Her best time in racing was when Over The Creek won at Cheltenham
and when her favourite horse Abragante won at Wincanton.
Gemma enjoys working in racing and finds most days at work pretty
funny.
Outside of racing Gemma supports Manchester United football team and
enjoys rugby, clubbing and socialising. Her plans are to have fun
and secure herself for the future.
